Owned by General Motors Corporation, Buick is one of the oldest brand of traditional country with abundant creativity from the first century. For the purpose intended for a buyer for the cars to the American tradition, Buick car set the priority for the splendid luxurious than sporty car. Although previously, the brand known for meeting the needs of customers with the retirement age large sedan, but today the brand's lineup also includes sports car versatile SUVs and minivans designed for young people in the car exhibition on display at the Buick dealer.
The company is led by David Dunbar Buick, Scotland capitalists founded in 1903. He has produced the first car in 1904, called Model B, two motor vehicles with cylinder head design with very advanced valve to that time. In 1907, Buick introduced the first 4-cylinder car and named it Model D. The following year, Flint, Buick Motor Company was located in Michigan William C. Durant bought out and become part of a new company called General Motors. As of 1914, all vehicles of the Buick were built engine 6 cylinder and most are sold to the professors and doctors, so the car is the nickname the "doctor's cars" (the car of progress physician).
In the early 1920s, it has proved to be a pioneer when units created kind of brakes for four-wheel drive system. This technology has been identified previously on the cars to follow orders, but Buick was the first successfully calculated when applying this technology for its car range. 8 cylinder Buick car appeared in the 1930s and is very popular; the advanced engine has been improved steadily in the years after that. 30 decade also saw the introduction of the Buick taillights after the first flash of this industry.
The model as Roadmaster Estate Wagon and helped each famous Buick may appear in each corner of the house or beyond the national level in 1940. In 1948, Buick introduced Dynaflow models with automatic transmission torque converter installed for the first American car. The 1950s and 1960s also saw the Buick continued to spurt out of the car when installed power steering and brakes, using 12-volt electrical system. This brand also lost only after the V6 engine of the U.S. passenger car first.
Buick gave her the title of dragon boat maker's majestic land when launched Electra 225 models, but until the '70s and '80s, it had to shrink their size cars to meet demand change of the market. In 1977, Buick has launched a new luxury sedan, smaller size. In the Reagan era, the mid-size sedan has maintained his place in its lineup.
Today, Buick specializes in luxurious sedans, sport utility vehicles SUVs and even minivans offer both. However, as well as other GM brands, the brand must always attempt to maintain his position before the trend of global competition. So in the future, this brand can be hostile to the youth with new products but can also deviate from the pure loyalty of its system.
