Toyota recalled more than 7 million vehicles worldwide

The Japanese carmaker announced recall 7.43 million vehicles worldwide due to errors in the control window and can cause fire. This includes selling models such as the Camry and Yaris.

Manufacturer said, when active, the control switch on the driver's side window on a vehicle can get stuck or like. This error occurs because the government lubricants are not in the process of mounting the switch in the factory, and if conventional lubricants, fire may arise in some cases.

According to Toyota, there is no case of fatal accidents or the fault.

Of the 7.43 million vehicles recalled about 2.5 million vehicles in circulation in the U.S., 1.4 million in Europe and China, half a million vehicles in the Middle East and 650,000 in Australia. In Japan, the number of vehicles involved is 450,000 units.

List of recalled vehicles include many cars and producing scattered in many years, including Highlander, Matrix, Tundra, Yaris, Corolla, Camry and RAV4.

Toyota said the error will be handled by removing the controls and use a special lubricant and does not charge the customer.

According to CNN, the recall notice was given shortly before the stock market in Japan ended the session. Toyota shares fell nearly 2 percent during the day, falling to its lowest level since late July.

This is the first recall of Toyota's largest since 2009, when about 10 million vehicles have been recalled to fix the sticking gas pedals. In this case, the agent will be notified to stop selling the vehicles involved, and the production well to pause for a certain period of time.

  1. Toyota's concern is still their client, not for sale they'll earn. If car is tested fail, then recalled the car and tell the public why it was recalled, and give client satisfying explanation and solution!
